Emmbrook Junior School

Emmbrook Junior School is a two-form entry school set within attractive and extensive grounds. We pride ourselves on being a warm and welcoming school where children can learn within an inclusive and nurturing environment in which they feel safe and secure.

Our school motto ‘Roots to grow; wings to fly’ underpins everything we do. We teach children how to be successful learners by developing life-long learning skills that will stand them in good stead for now and for the future.

We aim to provide the best education for our children, bringing learning to life through our creative, thematic curriculum.

Engaging and interactive lessons are full of memorable experiences which inspire a love of learning; encourage curiosity and promote both independence and collaborative learning skills.

We have a dedicated and hard-working team of staff and governors who continuously strive to reach high standards and to develop our school further. We are privileged to teach kind and caring children and we truly value the support of their parents and carers in their education. Through everyone working together – sharing similar high expectations and values – we believe that our children will fulfil their true potential.

We are proud to be part of the wider Emmbrook community and work closely with our feeder school, Emmbrook Infant School, as well as Emmbrook Secondary School. Our Hearing Resource Base (shared with Emmbrook Infant School) is an integral part of our school and we place a strong emphasis on achievement for all and respect for each other’s uniqueness.

The children love to share their learning and talk about our school with visitors. If you would like to arrange a visit or find out more about the exciting learning opportunities we provide, please contact the school office.
