Parent Trustee Election
The Trust would like to thank all parents and carers who took part in the recent election to appoint two Parent Trustees to the Trust Board.
Voting opened on 17 April and closed at 12 noon on 5 May 2026.
The ballot has now been counted in line with the Trust’s published Parent Trustee Election Terms of Reference.
A total of 7,624 ballots were issued and 649 valid votes were received. Votes were cast for all eight candidates.
Following the count, the two candidates receiving the highest number of votes —Andrea King and Mrs Raphinder Kaur Jhinger— have been elected as Parent Trustees and will join the Board of Trustees.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all eight candidates for their willingness to serve as a Trustee and for volunteering their time, expertise and commitment to our Trust.
We are also grateful to all parents and carers who voted. Your engagement supports strong governance and underpins the Trust’s commitment to inclusivity and community involvement.
