Shinfield Infant and Nursery School

Statement for The Circle Trust website relating to Shinfield Infant consultation

Following careful consideration, the Governing Body of Shinfield Infant and Nursery School, has formally and unanimously resolved that their school should consult with all stakeholders to becoming an Academy with the intention to join The Circle Trust.

Chris Young, Chair of Governors of Shinfield Infants said:

“The Governors, with the school’s Senior Management Team, have spent more than a year visiting and talking with a variety of academy  trusts, to sort out which will help us to provide the best future for the children in Shinfield. We were very pleased to find that the ethos and vision of The Circle Trust coincides with that of Shinfield Infant and Nursery School and we look forward to fully developing our partnership with the Trust, to the benefit of staff and pupils.”

Andrew Beckett, Chair of Trustees of The Circle Trust said:

“We are delighted that Shinfield Infant and Nursery School wishes to join our Trust.  Shinfield Infant and Nursery School brings expertise and experience to enrich our partnership of schools.  This is an important step in the planned development of our Trust, bringing together a community of local schools that want to collaborate for the benefit of children and young people in Wokingham and the surrounding area.”
