Members, Trustees and Local Advisors are vital volunteers that work with us to ensure that our schools are well-rounded, allowing the children and young people in our community to flourish.

Become a Local Advisor

If you are interested in making a real difference to the lives of children and young people in our community. We are currently looking for individuals to fill the pivotal role of Local Advisor within our family circle of schools.

Local Advisors are the eyes and ears on the ground for Trustees. They act as a sounding board for the Headteacher, holding up a mirror for the Headteacher to objectively reflect.

Local Advisors fulfil the following duties within a school:

Nurture vision, values and culture of their school

Work with headteacher to identify school priorities and strategies and monitor progress in delivery and impact

Foster links with and listen to stakeholders and their local community

Get to know their schools by receiving the Headteacher’s report, visiting their school, taking part in events and asking curious questions

Serve on panels
(eg. Complaints, Pupil disciplinary)
