Ben Kay

Chair of Local Advisors at Nine Mile Ride School

With a BSc in Business Information Systems at Liverpool John Moores University, Ben has a great interest in how technology plays a positive and active role in education.
Being involved with the education of young people never fails to be one of the most rewarding aspects of Ben’s life. Professionally, he leads the Brand, Marketing & Digital function for a large brand, and it is from this position that he has the opportunity to bring some of his experience to the support of local schools. His responsibility is to work hand-in-hand with the school to encourage, challenge and support, but also to work together to plan for the medium and long term direction of travel.

He feels very privileged to lead the Local Advisory Board at Nine Mile Ride Primary. Working alongside the Headteacher and Senior Management Team and looking forward to how we can constantly improve to create better educational experiences for every child, in addition to a great working culture for every staff member.
Ben feels that from Early Years Foundation through to Year 6, and the transition in to secondary education, everything is geared to helping students achieve their best potential outcomes.
The creation of the Circle Trust provides Local Advisors with a new chapter to help more children in the local area with new and exciting learning opportunities.
